It’s been a while and a lot has happened, I’ve travelled across 5 more countries which has been extremely taxing so I haven’t been keeping up with my blog & newsletter. I’ve got a huge backlog of blogposts I need to post.
I’ve also been working on a big project with my partner whilst travelling these countries, which I’m excited to talk about soon, taking daily spanish lessons thats been helping with it.
Here’s my blog post for the week (kind of, its from April, sorry) ,Robot City, Strange Fruit & Drunken Hikes Check it out here.
Some new flyer designs for Novo Speed you can find here. If you’re ever in Brighton you should check out their raves.
Here’s an unreleased piece to have a ganders at ey.
What I’ve been listening to:
I’ve been in Bolivia the last month so I’ve been listening to a lot of Bolivian folk music and also a band from La Paz that I met randomly in cafe called Radio Cutipa who describe themselves as electronic folk. They’re now a part of the upcoming project I have with my partner! So look forward to sharing that with you.
Check them out here with their music video for La Cumbia de la Perez set in La Paz
And check out this bolivian folk banger from the 80s which I’ve had on repeat whilst on bus journeys through their desert down south.
What I’ve been watching
Can’t say I’ve been watching too much that’s interesting, the new Beetlejuice film which was good, pretty nostalgic, the original was the first film I rented from the local video shop. There’s a few bolivian films I want to watch but can’t find any with english subs (my spanish isn’t good enough yet) If anyone knows where I can find Zona Sur with english subs let me know!
What I’ve been learning
I’ve not been learning the usual design skills, have been working on something bigger with a lot more face to face interaction. Will have more info next week!
I always appreciate connecting with my community, so feel free to hit 'reply' to this email and say 'hi'. I get back to every person who does. 👋
